Lenneke obtained her MSc degree in 1989 at Wageningen University where she graduated in human nutrition with a social science specialisation in health promotion. In 1995 she successfully defended her dissertation on community based health promotion in several European “Healthy Cities”. Former jobs: environmental health manager (Gaza Strip & The Yemen), programme manager Workplace Health Promotion at the Netherlands Institute of Health Promotion and Disease Prevention (NIGZ). Since 2005 she work at the Health and Society group of Wageningen University.
